How committed are you to being a good father, a good husband or perhaps a good role model? I believe that a real man loves his wife, and places his family as the most important thing in his life. Nothing has brought me more peace and contentment than simply being a good husband, a father and a good role model in the community.

A good father does one thing consistently; he’s a good example! He’s not perfect, he may not be successful in the worldly sense, but he makes every effort to make a better life possible for his family.

Being a father has been, without a doubt, one of my greatest sources of achievement, pride and inspiration. Fatherhood has taught me about unconditional love, reinforced the importance of giving back and living this life has taught me how to be a better man.

I think about the pledge I made to my Heavenly Father, that I would give my family all that I can. I will encourage my children; they can be anything in life, when they make Christ first.

Our Heavenly Father understands our disappointment, suffering, pain, fear, and doubt. He is always there to encourage our hearts and help us understand that He is sufficient for all of our needs. When I accepted this as an absolute truth in my life, I found that it helped me to become the father I am today.
