When you give, you give a little of yourself. Giving can bring out the best in all of us. So why aren’t we all giving more of ourselves? The Christmas holidays season revolves around giving.
The giving season brings about many misconceptions about giving, and when left unchallenged, it can undermine the very acts of giving. When we give to one another or give money for good causes, we should consider giving more of ourselves while spending time with those we love above all.
So to make this holiday special try giving more of your time, talents and skills to those who need it, apart from giving money or gifts.
When you reflect on this holiday season, ask yourself, and reexamine your gift giving habits, and we might just discover that when appropriate give more of yourself, and we will discover, giving more make its possible to receive the largest blessing in return.
